Our Take on The World Cup

What a fun thrilling couple of weeks it has been! If you are a football fan you know how much we have been bracing ourselves this past couple of weeks. This year's World Cup has been gripping, not to mention the main reason our office has been empty by 5 p.m. as we all rush home to catch the game.

That said, some of our key highlights was Morocco's win against Portugal which was nothing short of epic and has sent shockwaves through the football world. For those who missed it, allow us to give you a quick rundown.

The match was intense from the very beginning, with both teams giving it their all. Morocco was the underdogs, but they came out firing and put pressure on the Portuguese team from the start. They were strong on defense and quick on the counterattack, and it wasn't long before they found the back of the net. We may or may not have watched En-Nesyri’s goal multiple times in the board room, please don’t mention this to our boss.

But this win isn't just a triumph for Morocco – it's a victory for all of Africa. It's a reminder that African teams are not to be underestimated and have the talent and determination to go head-to-head with the best in the world. It's also a reassurance that Africa is capable of so much more including dressing up herself.

But really, what makes this win so special is the sheer joy and excitement that football brings. Whether you're a die-hard fan or just a casual spectator,  there's something about this sport that captures our hearts and keeps us coming back for more. Maybe it's the tension and drama of a close match or the thrill of seeing your team pull off a comeback. Whatever it is, there's no denying that football is a sport like no other, and it's a big part of why we love it so much.

Meanwhile, we have been sharing lots of content on our socials on how we are celebrating the world cup at the office, catch up with us here and here.
